- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Quantico, VA 22134 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, contract to SCS Integrated Support Solution, 12775 Randolph Ridge Lane Manassas, VA 20109 (Cage Code: 508A5) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(b), that limits sources and the items to one manufacturer will satisfy agency requirements. This intent is subject to final approval in accordance with FAR 8.405-6. The anticipated award date is 26 September 2014 with a start NLT 30 September 2014. The Marine Corps System Command (MCSC) has a requirement to purchase REASON Systems furniture, design and installation for offices and cubicles that matches 100% with existing systems furniture, manufactured by Transwall Office Systems, Inc. The estimated contract value is approximately $65,000 and will be classified under the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is NAICS 484210: Used Household and office goods moving. The Department of the Navy (DON) Furniture Acquisition policy dated 26 September 2011 revised the use of the suite of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) procured by Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) when procuring furniture. As a result, this order is set-aside exclusively for only those authorized FLC Norfolk Blanket Purchase Agreement holders within the East Region. SCS Integrated Support Solution is the only authorized seller on the BPA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; electronic submissions will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please reference the announcement number on all correspondence. Interested parties that are authorized on the FLC Norfolk Blanket Purchase Agreement may submit a response to this inquiry but must include the following information: name and address of company; BPA Number, business size (large or small); identify applicable the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
