- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the Idaho State Office intends to negotiate with only one source under DHS Security Tactical Contracts, Relm Communications, to acquire 185 DPHX5102 P25 portable radios with accessories. This action is authorized by and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency's requirements is Relm Communications. A Limited Source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The contractor shall provide portable and mobile radios with accessories. Relm Communications radios are designed and have been tested by the DOI and the Forest Service for compatibility within the agency's radio system architecture for specific agency requirements. The estimated value of this acquisition is less than $147,000.00. No Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued and no response will be made to letter or telephone requests for copies of this solicitation. This is not a request for competitive quotes, but serves as a procurement notice to fulfill public posting requirements in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1). NAICS code 334220 applies.
