- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Southern Regional Contracting Office, Brooke Army Medical Center intends to award a sole source contract to Hospira Worldwide to purchase MedNet Software License for existing systems. Hospira is the manufacturer of the infusion pumps and owns the proprietary rights for parts, service, and software for the Government owned infusion pumps. Award will be made on 9 September 2014. The NAICS code of this procurement is 334614 and the size standard is 750. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
