- THIS AMENDEMENT CHANGES THE EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS AND EXTENDS THE RFQ DUE DATE. General Information Document Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Solicitation Number: N02AT44448-11 Posted Date: 08/21/2014 Response Date: 09/05/2014 NAICS Code: 423490 The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) plans to make one firm fixed price type award for a lab glassware dishwasher as a result of this solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business under the North American Industry Classification System Code is 423490 and the size standard is 500 employees. Award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable. One copy of the quote must be electronically received in the NCI Office of Acquisitions on or before 12:00 PM EST on September 8, 2014 via email to oberholzerb@mail.nih.gov. All questions must be emailed to Brenda Oberholzer, Contracting Officer, at oberholzerb@mail.nih.gov. In order to receive an award, contractors must have valid registration and certification in the System for Award Management www.sam.gov. No collect calls will be accepted. Please reference solicitation number N02AT44448-11 on all correspondence. This solicitation is for the purchase one (1) lab glassware dishwasher that meets the specifications below: •External dimensions: no bigger than 4 feet width •Electrical tank heating •Water connection: cold, warm, DI •Self-cleaning chamber •Racks •baskets •Washing chamber of stainless steel •Three level water filtering system •Frontal basket loading •Full drainage of re-circulating pump •Thermal decontamination possibilities up to 93ºC •Trolley system with wheels and safety breaks •Storage space for at least two 5 liter containers •Complete auto diagnosis •Pre-set programs and capability to customize at least 20 additional programs •Total control of cycle parameters •Pass-word access for programming •Hot air drying for chamber and rack injectors •Preheat tank (boiler) for DI water (18 liter min) •Drain water cool down <60°C •Drain pump Specific Services: •Vendor must uncrate, inspect and set equipment in place and ready for final utility connection. •Vendor must return after all final connections are made for start-up, test and demo/training the end-users. •Guarantee of at least 12 months for parts (excluding wear & tear parts) Delivery and set up of equipment within 30 days of award to: Yarimar Carrasquillo National Institutes of Health Building 35A, Room 1E410 35 Convent Drive Bethesda, MD 20814 Phone: 301-451-8147 The Solicitation Document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76.
