Description
The Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of Anti Terrorism Assistance (DS/ATA) continues to provide cutting edge counterterrorism training and assistance, improves bilateral ties, and increase respect for human rights to key partners around the globe. The State Department's DS/ATA program is a key component in increasing the capacity of many of our allies around the world to take strong and decisive action against terrorism. DS/ATA plays an integral role in providing training to combat terrorism by building productive relationships with our counterterrorism partners. DS/ATA has CONUS and OCONUS requirements for the 1) logistics, facilities, equipment, and administrative support services and 2) equipment, supplies, and services procurement to support training programs 3) additional personnel and support such as Resident Program Management, Trainers, support staff, and procurements in locations as directed by DS/ATA. Any additional services and support that may be identified in other locations as required and directed and shall be accomplished via Task Orders coordinated with DS/ATA to identify specific requirements. We will not be handling Question and Answers (Q&A) at this time via phone or email. Q&A will be handled during the Q&A period of the solicitation only. The period of performance is one base year and four one-year option years for a total of five years. The solicitation, when finalized, will be available on or about September 4, 2014. All announcements and amendments made to the solicitation will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. To receive updates, click on "Register to Receive Notification". Offerors are not requested to provide notice of their interest in the solicitation. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. The approximate acquisition schedule is as follows: the synopsis will be posted for approximately fifteen (15) days. Once the solicitation announcement closes on FedBizOpps, the Offerors will have approximately thirty (30) days to submit proposals. The Question and Answer (Q&A) period opens with the posting of the solicitation and shall be handled in accordance with the instructions contained in Section L. The contract is anticipated to be awarded within approximately forty-five (45) days after proposal submission. All dates are subject to change and Offerors will be notified of any changes.
