- Brand Name Justification and Approval for Whelen Mass Notification Upgrade This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is being procured using the procedures authorized by FAR 13.5, "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items". This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ F1U3CS4076AC01 this solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Total Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 334290 with a 750 Employee size standard. This RFQ contains 8 lines items. The line item description is as follows: CLIN 0001: WPS2905-MC Omnidirectional warning siren capable of 6 standard tones, prerecorded voice and live public address. Rated 123 dB at 100 ft. (18 Each) CLIN 0002: WPS2909-MC Omnidirectional warning siren capable of 6 standard tones, prerecorded voice and live public address. Rated 128 dB at 100 ft. (1 Each) CLIN 0003: C2030MV-MC Two Way Control, 10 Digit DTMF VHF(Narrowband) with antenna. (23 Each) CLIN 0004: WPSBATT-MC One pair of batteries for use with the WPS-2900 and WPS-4000 siren system. (20 Each) CLIN 0005: IPS400-MC In-Plant Personnel Warning System (IPS)---includes 400 watts of amplification (4 x 100 watt channels). (4 Each) CLIN 0006: PGINT-MC Paging interface to interface Whelen tones with existing public address systems. (4 Each) CLIN 0007: W3000 Software/hardware for siren control. (2 Each) CLIN 0008: Shipping to Eielson AFB, Alaska. The delivery date is 60 Days ADC. Submittal of "Or Equal" items are NOT allowed under this solicitation.
