As per the information list at FedBizOps in solicitation P14PS02411 the vendor walk through was scheduled for Tuesday September 02, 2014 Q. Is there a map or drawings available for where the cameras and work stations need to be located? A. There are no drawings or maps available Q. It will also be necessary for the Building Management Specialists to VPN into the cameras from remote locations. Q. Is there specific brand of camera that need to be used? If so, what is the brand? A. The NPS is not naming a specific brand of camera. The offeror is required to suggest their proposed brand of camera that meets the government technical requirements listed in the Statement of Work Q. What are the names of the persons/companies who were on the walk through. This information was not posted either, and per the FAR this is public information that should be shared. A. The NPS will not be releasing the names of the companies or the persons who attended the walk through. Q. What are the exact quantities of the cameras? Usually on the SF1449 this would be listed. There is nothing listed except Security Camera System qty 1. I dont think you want industry to guess at this A. As per the posted Statement of Work The Security Camera System consists of eight (8) Point To Zoom (PTZ) cameras mounted on the exterior of the building, three (3) dome cameras mounted on the interior of the building at the main employee entrance points, a rack mounted Panasonic DVR and a guards desk Panasonic System Controller with two (2) monitors for viewing the cameras footage.
