- Description
- The US Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded solicitation DU205NC-14-R-0007, to Maiden and Associates, PC Architects/Engineers/Planners (M&A), 4930 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington DC, 20016. The award is a single-award, combination Firm-fixed-price/Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract. Maiden and Associates will be performing Construction Inspections for the Denver Multifamily Hub. The contractor will perform construction inspections and perform various construction inspection tasks (e.g. reviewing change orders, payment requests, schedules, request for permission to occupy, etc.) (CIS) on an as needed basis, for the Denver Multifamily Hub. The contractor will perform the above services in the following States: Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. The construction inspector's work products will provide HUD with the field/site data necessary to make informed decisions regarding the construction phase of HUD multifamily mortgage insurance underwriting and capital advance programs. The duration of the contract period is two years, and the contract maximum quantity is 2300 construction inspections. The government conducted the acquisition according to FAR Subpart 13.5- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The government procured the Construction Inspection Services under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5) (FAR § 6.302-5 - Authorized or Required by Statute ). The applicable statute was 15 U.S.C. 637, Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program (FAR § 6.302-5).
