Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA786-14-Q-0367 for the following: This contract shall include all labor and materials necessary supply blank marble columbarium niche covers to Rio Grande Valley StateVeteran Cemetery. Replacements must be comparable in color and shading to the existing marble niche covers mounted on columbaria at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery. This contract covers the period from day of award through October 17, 2014. The purpose of this contract is to supply blank marble columbarium niche. All potential offerors shall submit at their expense one of each sample type by the closing date of this solicitation. The samples shall be used to determine potential awardees' ability to perform the work. Failure to meet any of the requirements will result in the rejection of the sample(s). Samples shall be representative of the stone to be used, the finish to be attained and the placement and diameter of the holes to be drilled. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. This acquisition is 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 327991. The contractor shall have Ten (10) calendar days, excluding federal holidays, as counted from the date following the day an order is sent to the contractor until the monuments are produced and made available to the cemetery for final inspection. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following descending order: 1) Price 2) Technical, 3) Past Performance. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from Federal Business Opportunities http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or around September 5, 2014. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., September 16,2014. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at FedBizOpps.
