Description

The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) will be hosting quarterly Joint Interagency Field Exploration (JIFX) events,www.nps.edu/fx, throughout the 2015 fiscal year (FY15). These events will focus on exploring the potential of new capabilities to address challenges faced by the United States ™ Combatant Commanders (AFRICOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM, NORTHCOM,PACOM, SOCOM, SOUTHCOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM) and the federal entities that support (or are supported by) the COCOMs. The Department of Defense is the sponsoring entity for this event. This event is modeled on the successful US Special Operations Command “ Naval Postgraduate School ™s TNT/CBE events and is being conducted to provide the benefits of a multi institutional semi-structured learning environment for the conventional forces community. Companies, educational institutions,laboratories and other organizations are invited to submit white papers that may lead to an invitation to participate in the August JIFX event to be conducted at the NPS McMillan Airfield facility on Camp Roberts near Paso Robles, California. Next iteration will be from 1 November through 1 February 2015. Followed by: 1 February through 1 May 2015 1 May through 1 August 2015 1 August through 1 November 2015 www.nps.edu/fx
