Description

The VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS), Perry Point, MD Campus requires Waste Removal Services for the period of 10/1/14 - 9/30/15 plus four (4) one (1) year options. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to provide collection, storage, removal, transportation, and disposal of regulated medical waste at the Perry Point VA Medical Center and associated CBOCs. Contractor shall be responsible for proposing their own approach and allocating appropriate equipment, packaging supplies, shipping papers and personnel. The contractor shall have appropriate back-up systems in place to ensure at no time the VA facilities are without services. Action plans shall be in place to address any shortfalls in services. This is a total set aside for Woman Owned Small Business. NAICS code is 562112 and the size standard is $38.5 M. Tentative solicitation issue date is September 7, 2014.
