Description

This is a Notice of Intent to award Sole Source to Wright Line LLC, 160 Gold Star Blvd., Worcester, MA 01606-2709. This is for procurement and installation of Hot Aisle/Cold Aisle Containment systems for the G-4 Data Center at Camp Lejeune, N.C. NAICS Code 337215 applies. Solicitation M67001-14-Q-0322. The Contracting Department, MCIEAST, Camp Lejeune, NC intends to award a sole source contract to Wright Line LLC at Camp Lejeune, NC. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. The existing data center equipment (data racks and blanking panels) in the G-4 Data Center is manufactured by Wright Line LLC. Procurement from the sole source/manufacturer is required to ensure optimal control of air flow and reduction of energy costs to cool the data center. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all vendor capabilities received within 2 days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This procurement is being conducted utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government is soliciting from a Single Source, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b).
