- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst intends to enter into sole source negotiations for the procurement of Support Equipment (SE) necessary to perform intermediate level repairs to the MH-60 AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) Anti-submarine Warfare sensor. Specifically, this effort is for the procurement of five (5) Cable Tensioning Systems (CTS) P/N WF001, NSN 4920-015991173, three (3) Shore-based R&C Tension Machine (CTM) P/N 5878-151, NSN 4920-01-576-9367, and Re-termination Peculiar Support Equipment, which consists of a Hydrostatic test System, P/N Q10-13798H, NSN 4920-01-599-1297, a Tensile Test System, P/N SYNST001, NSN 4920-01-559-1296 and associated equipment and accessories. This effort also includes the installation of the CTM, as well as operator and maintenance training. The anticipated award will be made to Tulsa Power Products, Inc., located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tulsa Power Products, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the CTM and CTS and the Government does not possess any the technical data rights to these items. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
