Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center (NAC) will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) under RFP #VA797N-13-R-0015 for Nebulizer Sets Disposable and Non-Disposable and Accessories (Tubing, Medicine Cup, Mouth Piece, and Masks), Nebulizer Compressors (Electric). VA approximately procures the following items annually; 1. Disposable Nebulizer Sets - 122,969 2. Non Disposable Nebulizes Sets - 2,954 3. Nebulizer w/Compressors Electric Disposable Sets - 39,758 4. Disposable Filters - 32,287 5. Non-Disposable Filters - 7,518 6. Aerosol Masks - 25,947 7. Trach Masks - 2,208 The solicitation will be issued as a Full and Open Competitive Procurement. The contract period is for one base year plus four one-year option periods. A single award is anticipated from this solicitation. If the offeror is not the manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Solicitation No VA797N-13-R-0015 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about September 23, 2014 with a closing date of 30 days from the solicitation issuance date. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339112. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
