- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SOLICITATION #W912PF-14-T-0099 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 using Simplified Acquisition Procedure for commercial information found at FAR 13.5 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912PF-14-T-0099 and it is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation is unrestricted and all interested Offerors shall submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-57, DCN 20120330 and AFAC 2012-0330. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is: 423310 The purpose of this combined synopsis/solicitation is to purchase the items listed in the Attachment #1 titled quote mark Price Schedule - W912PF-14-T-0099 quote mark. Note: -The lumber must be treated and pest free (HT) for shipment and certified in accordance with Standard ISPM-15; -The lumber provided can be Fir, Pine or Spruce. Place of Delivery: Ammunition Storage Area inside Camp Darby Installation. Gate #4 Via Vecchia Livornese San Piero A Grado (Pisa) Due to the safety requirements to access this area arrangements for delivery and storage of the material shall be done by the Contractor and the Contracting Officer's Representative at least 3 (three) working days before the delivery date(s). Delivery Date: Items shall be delivered by 30 September 2014. Partial deliveries are acceptable. All quotes must be submitted to the Contracting Officer no later than 12:00 pm (GMT+01:00, Rome) on 05 September 2014. The Offeror is solely responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. The Government reserves the right to evaluate quotes and award a contract without discussions with Offerors. The Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 will be used. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation - Commercial Items - The addendum to paragraph (a) is as follows: quote mark The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: price and delivery terms. Sooner deliveries and single delivery instead of multiplied deliveries will be favorably evaluated quote mark. All Offerors responding to the solicitation are required to be registered in the System for Award Management in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and are also required to complete Offeror Representations and Certifications in accordance with FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. All quotes shall include the delivery terms the price (US dollars or foreign currency which will be converted to US Dollars on the date of award according to Federal Reserve exchange rates), number of delivery days, company, point of contact, point of contact phone number, GSA contract number (if applicable) and any payment discount terms. Each offer shall clearly indicate the capability of the items to meet all specifications. Regarding the quotes submitted in Euro currency, the US Government is exempt from payment of Imposta Valore Aggiunto (IVA) tax in accordance with DFAR 252.229-7003, Tax Exemptions and with Article 72 of the Italian IVA implementing Decree Law 633, dated October 26, 1972.
