- Description
- The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) seeks other than full and open competition and conduct a Base Year and one Option Year brand name sole source award for the purchase of Bottcher's Chameleon Ink Rollers and UV Ink Rollers to operate on GPO's Heidelberg's offset press to Bottcher America Corporation, 4600 Mercedes Drive, Belcamp, MD 21017. Bottcher America is the manufacturer of the Bottcher ink rollers and has proprietary rights on the sale and distribution of its rollers. The Heidelberg offset press is located at the US Government Printing Office (GPO), 732 North Capitol Street, NW, Washington, DC 20401. Under the authority of Citation: 41 U.S.C. 5(3) - Pursuant to Materials Management Acquisition Regulation (MMAR) Part 6.302-1(c) "Brand Name', sole source when only one source of supplies is available. This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responses shall be sent to Senior Contracting Officer Bobbie L. McKoy at bmckoy@gpo.gov on or before September 12, 2014 no later than 12:00 noon, EST.
