Description
This amendment/modification is issued to add contract clauses 52.227-2 (Notice and Assistance Regarding Patent and Copyright Infringement) and 52.227-3 (Patent Indemnity) to the attached. This amendment/modification is issued to extend the solicitation date to 09 Sept 2014 at 2:00 pm (14:00). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Brand Name or Equal The EtherHound is a cell phone detection trigger specifically tuned to the RF signature of common cell phones. EtherHound is a discreet receiver that can be mounted anywhere, powered over ethernet (PoE) and added to a network of other cell phone detectors. When any voice or RF data from all common U.S. or Euro cell phones is detected, EtherHound sends a trigger to any programmable device on the network to activate. The specifications needed to provide the detection of portable electronic devices should include, but not be limited to: Receiver design boasts a dynamic range of 60 dB with user selectable sensitivity User selectable sensitivity from -80 dBm to -50 dBm with a resolution of 2dB for detection in a noisy environment Selectivity rejection of at least 50 dB at 1 MHz from the uplink frequency bands provides high immunity from false triggering caused by base stations, personal communication devices and other sources of interference Ethernet port included to send measurements to a PC for real-time monitoring or logging & playback User selectable mobile frequency bands allow the same unit to be used around the world; both USA and European mobile uplink bands are supported Detects and displays the phone's transmitting frequency with resolution + 2 MHz Optional software allowing custom triggers and real-time monitoring for all cell phone activity See Attached Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Section I thru XII See Attached Salient Characteristics:
