- Sources Sought: This is not a request for quote or proposal. This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking responses in order to determine participation in the acquisition. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. This Sources Sought Synopsis is issued for maximizing competition. Should anything in the requirement be construed as limiting competition, please feel free to contact the MICC Special Competition Advocate at dean.m.carsello.civ@mail.mil. The Government is conducting market research to determine interested sources for a requirement to provide remanufacturing, upgrading, and modification of one (1) E-One 110' Aerial Structural Fire Truck for Fire & Emergency Services. The remanufacturing must be IAW factory specification to maintain the factory warranty. This is not a Request for Proposals, but instead a Request for Information to obtain an indication of your interest, obtain voluntary limited capability information of those interested sources, and to determine interested sources prior to issuing the solicitation. The Government will not award a contract based on this Request for Information, the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. We are not requesting technical/management proposals. If you are an interested source please provide the following voluntary information: 1) Business status; 2) Whether or not you have any other contracts and; 3) A brief but detailed Statement of Capability (no more than 5 pages); which identifies your interest in this requirement and clearly demonstrates your ability to meet the requirements. The applicable NAICS code is 336120 with a size standard of 1000 Employees. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature.
