- The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify qualified businesses that are interested and capable of providing the bulk lubricants requirement for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy. DLA Energy is seeking information on industry capabilities and potential sources for providing lubricating oil in the European region. The Government is neither negotiating nor calling for offers at this time. This Sources Sought is an expression of interest only and does not commit the Government to pay for any response preparation cost. The Government will not make an award on the basis of this notice. Receiving Activity: Defense Fuel Supply Point (DFSP) Rota Rota, Spain Period of Performance: 2 years Product Type: L ubricating Oil, Steam Engine, LTL NSN: 9150-01-372-6915 Specification: MIL-PRF-17331K(SH) Dated May 7, 2013 Estimated Quantity: 24,000 USG Mode: FOB Origin or Destination Tank Truck Deliveries will be considered Product within the same geographical area is preferred Truck must be equipped with pump and hoses to offload Quantity Determination: Quantity will be determined in accordance with DLAD 52.211-9073 DETERMINATION OF QUANTITY - DLA ENERGY (NOV 2011); Calibrated meter on the delivery conveyance, requiring manual volume correction.
