Description
This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for NSN: 5340-01-354-3373, Cover, Access (Cap, Protective, Dust) for a quantity of 32 each for DWG 622218-1 DWG REV L and TDR/REI-14-12060. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and Aircraft Launch Recovery Equipment (ALRE) item with Government First Article Testing (FAT) requirements. Per NAVAIR, all sources that are considered for an award must be reviewed and approved prior to a contract award. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% set aside for a small business (FAR 19.502-2) and requires FOB Origin in accordance with the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. Inspection will be at origin and acceptance at destination. Requested delivery is 255 days (including FAT). A pre-award survey and post-award conference are required unless specifically waived by NAVAIR Quality Assurance personnel. Due to the critical nature of this item, it is necessary to conduct in-process inspections on critical component features, attributes, or manufacturing processes. This is a firm-fixed price solicitation in accordance with FAR 12.5. The quantity is a base of 32 each and may include options in the Year 1 for 42 each. There are no surge requirements. The Evaluation Factors will be: Low Price Technically Acceptable and Past Performance are of equal value. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
