- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS (www.fbo.gov). The RFQ number is N39040-14-T-0358. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-72 and DFARS Change Notice 20130311. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 541519 is $27.5 million. The solicitation is brand name mandatory due to unique product features that are required to meet U.S. Navy IT Audit requirements. Only quotations received from sources authorized by the brand name mandatory OEM (BMC) will be considered for award. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Code 410 Contracting requests quotations from capable sources to provide the specific brand name mandatory products and services states in the performance work statement below: Performance Work Statement Period of Performance: Oct 20th - Nov 14th 2014, This includes the purchase, continuous support and onsite engineering services of the following: 1) BMC FootPrints Suite Software Package, LPFB1.0.0.00, 1 Each 2) BMC FootPrints Suite Software Package Continuous Support, LPFB1.0.0.01, 1 Each 3) BMC FootPrints Named User Agent Suite, LAFBK.0.0.00, 30 Each 4) BMC FootPrints Named User Agent Suite Continuous Support, LAFBK.0.0.01, 30 Each 5) BMC FootPrints Concurrent User Agent Suite, LAFBJ.0.0.00, 25 Each 6) BMC FootPrints Concurrent User Agent Suite Continuous Support, LAFBJ.0.0.01, 25 Each 7) BMC FootPrints Staff Augmentation on-site to do services as described below, Approximately 158 hours, travel and expenses included. On-Site Engineering Services Description: We need a Certified BMC Footprints Engineer who will get all of the following Footprints modules installed, implemented, configured and fully functioning; 1) BMC FootPrints Suite 2) BMC FootPrints Named User Agent Suite 3) BMC FootPrints Concurrent User Agent Suite Upon installation, implementation, configuration and full functionality of FootPrint modules Incident, Change and CMDB. The expectation is that Code 1230 will be able to manage service management (Ticketing), change management, asset management (CMDB),, and self-service option. Additionally, the software will be configured to assign tickets to various IT support groups (Code 1231, 1232, 1233, 1234, 1235, 1236, 1237 and 1230S). Also the software change management will be configured for approval by Change Management Board (CMB) members. All these functions can only be utilized when the software is fully installed and implemented. Essential Performance Requirements: 1) Help desk to assign tickets to various IT groups (Codes) and System Administrators have the ability to work the tickets (self-assign), reassign the tickets, add notes to the ticket and closed the ticket when complete. 2) Ability to submit change management request, e-mail notification to the CMB members of the request and the ability of board members to approve/disapprove the request. 3) Ability for user to submit self-service tickets (web). 4) Asset management (CMDB) module fully operational. * The BMC FootPrint Engineer will be a US citizen. ** It will be the FootPrint Engineers responsibility to notify Portsmouth Naval Shipyard no later than Oct 10th of the system requirements of the BMC FootPrint software.
