Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Stratton Albany VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, New York 12208-3410, intends to award a firm, fixed price service contract to provide custom millwork, installation and renovation of its Chapel sacristy. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Submission of proposals must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. The Government will award a firm, fixed-price contract to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation provides the Best Value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The applicable NAICS code is 337212 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The VA will not pay any costs incurred in preparation and submission of proposals. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items which is completed by registering in the System for Award Management (SAM) Website at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Proposals must also include contractor's DUNS Number, prompt payment terms, and correct remittance address. OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH SAM PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD. The solicitation package will be available on or about September 11, 2014. The date for receipt of proposals is September 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM EDT. All technical and price proposals must be submitted electronically (e-mailed) to richard.williams18@va.gov.
