- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is OS136061. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. (iv)The corresponding NAICS code is 811121 and the small business size standard is $7.5 million. (v)List of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, including options: CLIN 1. Base Period - Extended warranty for Law Enforcement Electronic Surveillance Platforms for the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Inspector General (OIG). Includes repair or replacement of any part that is deemed defective, including the replacement of batteries. Services shall be competed at the location of the deployed vehicle. Extended warranty covers specialized air conditioning system; operational power system; distribution panels; electrical power distribution and monitoring panel; environmental monitors; surveillance equipment suite; surveillance cameras; network accessories, including video encoders, network routers, cellular broadband routers, camera controllers, notebook computers and remote camera observation software; audio components; audio RF receiver, RF Antenna, headphones, radio and signal amplifier. The Government will award a contract resulting from this synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. SVS is the original manufacturer of the Platforms and has installed all devices in a proprietary method that is unique to HHS/OIG. SVS has specialized knowledge of the Platforms and wiring schematics.
