Responses to this Notice shall consist of an initial white paper (not to exceed 3 pages) describing the offeror's capabilities with regard to trouble shooting, testing and repairing the F-16 CDEEU. The F-16 CDEEU (MB025A-32 for F-16 blocks 40/42/50/ 52) processes data from external inputs and regulates control signals to Communication, Navigation and Identification equipment, plus display information to the Data Entry Display. The specific parts involved are as follows: CDEEU Configurations FSC NIIN MMAC Part # 5998 015591236WF WF 29446B-01 5998 016238811WF WF 24008B-03 5998 015591237WF WF 33837A-03 5998 016165913WF WF 33837A-02 5998 015591240WF WF 24009A-01 5998 015591241WF WF 44630B-00 5998 016165912WF WF 44630A-01 5998 015928704WF WF 23999A-03 5998 016164384WF WF 23999A-02 5998 015593113WF WF 24011A-03 Contract repair is required, and additional sources requested, for the CDEEU. Perspective sources will be required to develop repair capability for the CDEEU's internal subassemblies. The government does not own any repair manuals or detailed parts lists for the F-16 CDEEU. Additionally, the government does not have any special test equipment available for repair of the F-16 CDEEU. Therefore, the respondent would need to be able to demonstrate the ability to obtain or create those resources necessary to perform trouble shooting, repair and testing of the F-16 CDEEU in a timely fashion. If the offerer is able to develop or obtain the data, manuals, and tech orders from another party, they must be able to demonstrate that they have access to such resources and the legal right to use said resources to repair assets for the government. Interested organizations who feel they possess the necessary capabilities should respond by providing the Government the following information: a point of contact, address, telephone, and fax numbers, email address, duns number, cage code, and/or tax ID number, as well as size category, (large, small, small disadvantaged, etc) a brief summary of the companies capabilities, description of facilities, personnel, related manufacturing experience, and existing safety approvals ( refer to the white paper listed above). Provide any supporting information such as commercial literature, catalogues, manuals, etc. If a respondent chooses to utilize the services of sub-tier vendors or subcontractors, those vendors or subcontractors must meet the criteria specified herein as well. Responses to this Notice are due on or before 13 Oct 2014. All information marked as proprietary information will be safeguarded to prevent disclosures to nongovernment personnel and entities.
