This is a Sources Sought Notice for small business size standard only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) identifier for this service is 532420 with a size standard of 32M. This does not constitute a solicitation. The information gathered from this request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only. The Government is not obligated, nor shall it pay for, any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this notice is to identify small business entities capable of providing the following items to the VA Medical Center, Buffalo, NY: 1. Lease of a plotter/scanner with any associated parts or software requirements for proper operation. The salient characteristics of the requirement are: a.Producing prints in black and white and color in sizes ranging from A (8-1/2"x11") to E (36"x48") at speeds up to 28seconds per page for an A size at a resolution of 2400x1200 optimized DPI. b.Utilizing sheet fed media or automatic roll feed. c.A copy capacity of 1000 copies and a reduction/enlargement of 1 to 10,000% and the ability to mirror/copy, batch print, paneling, and align preview. d.Scanning up to 42" prints at a speed of 5.1cm per second (color) and 15.2cm per second (black white) with variable resolution settings. e.Capacity to read/write CD's and DVD's and ability to save scanned documents onto CD's and DVD's. Service requirements of the lease include: "Installation "Labor for start up "Software updates "Training on use (to coincide with installation) "Maintenance that provides: proper operation of equipment, unlimited telephone support, 48 hour on-site response time to support emergency services and semiannual preventative maintenance Small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns may respond by submitting a qualifications letter stating the following information: 1. Name and model number of product that meets the Government's requirement. 2. Capability statement for the service requirement.
