Description

he VA North Texas Health Care System intends to solicit and award a Sole Source Contract to Provation Medical for the purchase of software upgrade to Provation MD "Brand Name" for the North Texas Veterans Health Care System, Dallas VA Medical Center, Dallas, TX 78229. The Contractor will provide "Brand Name" Provation MD, Implementation, Installation and Training Services. The resulting purchase will be a Firm-Fixed Price Agreement. The"ProVation MD which is a database software that helps guide physicians through needed documentation to support downstream functions like coding, quality reporting and compliance. The software's Anticipatory Interface ® reminds the physician to document key elements for the procedure and is intuitive to ensure high physician adoption. Efficiently capturing key procedure information in the note is one thing, analyzing and disseminating that information throughout your facility is another. Immediately after the procedure is complete, ProVation MD will automatically generate billing codes, personalized letters for referring physicians, patient instructions, quality registry submissions, data reports and more.. The designated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 511210 with a small business size standard of $38.2K. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. No Solicitation will be published. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition is attainable and more advantageous to the Government. This 'Notice of Intent' to sole-source as the result of Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1 is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion and authority of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to solicit this requirement as a 'full & open' competitive procurement. No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability statements will be provided by the VHA. Please submit information to Jim Houston at Jim.houston@va.gov All responses must be received no later than Tuesday, September 16, 2014 by 12:00 PM central standard time.
