Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number VA261-14-Q-1216 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 guidelines. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered by the agency. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 517210 ("Wireless Internet service providers, except satellite"), and the business size standard is 1500 employees. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract for WiFi access point installation and wireless internet service for the VA Northern California Healthcare System (VANCHCS) Sacramento Medical Center. The Contractor MUST provide both installation and wireless internet service. Delivery Information FOB: Destination Delivery date: 60 days after date of contract. Delivery address:10535 Hospital Way Sacramento, CA 95655 All quotes must be sent via e-mail to Nicole Do at Nicole.do@va.gov. Questions shall be submitted no later than 4:00 PM EST, 16 September 2014. Quotes shall be submitted no later than 8:00 AM EST, 19 September 2014. All quotes must reference solicitation number VA261-14-Q-1216. ** September 12, 2014 - Changes were made to section 4 in the Performance Work Statement regarding ownership of equipment. Please see the attached revised solicitation.
