Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has an ongoing program to furnish artificial limbs and related services to those veterans that require them and are eligible for assistance. VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting market research through this sources sought notice for businesses to provide artificial limbs and related services within a VA Medical Centers (VAMC) Asheville NC, Beckley WV, Durham NC, Fayetteville NC, Hampton VA, Richmond VA, Salem VA, Salisbury NC jurisdiction under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. Section 8123. The period of performance will be May 10, 2015 through May 9, 2016. Four Option years will be offered. This sources sought announcement is not a request for proposals and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621399. Size standard is $7.5M. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responses.
