Description

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, intends to award an order to Imaging Business Machines, LLC on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 6.302-1 for Software Upgrade with minimal Hardware changes. This upgrade will afford more features and uses of the existing scanner. Imaging Business Machines LLC if the only provider due to proprietary constrictions it is necessary for all upgrades be done by the original equipment manufacturer, Imaging Business Machines LLC. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received by September 19, 2014 by 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Responses shall be submitted to michelle.smith@fms.treas.gov, Attention: Michelle Smith. Responses shall provide information that shows the offeror can provide maintenance and support on the Software Upgrade that is equal to the certified "Red Level" maintenance and support provided by Imaging Business Machines, LLC A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acqusiiton based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally by considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
