Description

NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION: In accordance with the Veterans First Contracting Program and the Authority under 38 USC 8127-8128 (Sections 502 and 503 of Public Law (P.L.) 109-461), FAR Part 6.302-5(b) (6), and VAAR 819.7007, the Government intends to negotiate a sole source contract to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) for Project Number 573A4-14-803; entitled, Replace Electrical Feeder#3 &4 located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital, Lake City, Florida. This project will replace approximately 4,000 ft. of existing, 3-phase, underground Feeder #3B and Feeder #4B conductor cable in from the existing feed from the Building 3 switchgear, labeled "Feeder #3B" and "Feeder #4B", through 4 manholes The project range is less than $150,000. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 236220, 'Commercial and Institutional Building Construction' industry and a Small Business Size Standard is $33.5Mil. This is not a solicitation and does not constitute a commitment or an obligation by the government. This notice is not a request for offers, quotes or proposals. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Only. The government intends to negotiate a sole source contract with TOM JENKINS ELECTRICAL SERVICE, INC., an SDVOSB concern, DUNS # 109551551. This SDVOSB Company is listed in the VetBiz registry and is CVE Verified.
