Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a Sole Source Basis with Canberra Industries, Inc. to procure one (1) Canberra Accuscan-II Whole Body Scanning System plus ancillary equipment. This equipment will be used for whole body internal radioactivity scanning. The line items are as follows: Canberra Accuscan-II Whole Body Counter (WBC) System, part number 2281-B-CP5-3 CP5 Detector Mount, part number 2281+CP5 Cable Kit for 2280G2KA+G2A Optiplex Computer, 7010 Mini Tower Base, part number C14166-2 Gigabit Desktop Switch, part number C-14241-1 HP LaserJet Printer, part number C14171-1 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing). The solicitation number will be SPMYM1-14-Q-0158. The solicitation/request for proposals is expected to be posted on or around 18 September 2014. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at www.fedbizopps.gov, as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency.
