- NOTICE OF INTENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 intends to enter into sole source procurement with Biovision Technologies, Inc., 64 E. Uwchlan Avenue #273, Exton, PA 19341 for an upgrade to motorized Olympus inverted fluorescence microscope at the Department of Veterans Affairs, G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC, Jackson, MS 39216. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 334516 with a business size standard of 500. The proposed contract is for an upgrade which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested sources may submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates ability to meet the requirements by submitting their interest in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to rosemary.briggs@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 11:00 AM CT on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
