Description

The requirement is to test, calibrate and repair Cathodic Protection, Automatic Tank Gauging and Fuel Management Systems on above ground tanks, underground tanks to include piping, piers and quay walls and associated equipment at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation and management necessary to perform the work. Procurement Method: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable The solicitation will utilize source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance and experience information and a price (or cost) proposal for evaluation by the Government. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. Solicitation will be posted on or about 1 October 2014.
