Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The government intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Siemens Medical Solutions, USA,Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received prior to the close date of this announcement. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. Notice of Intent: National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), Office of Purchasing and Contracts (OPC), 10 Center Drive, Building 10, Room 1C541, Bethesda, Maryland 20892 intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis toSiemens Medical Solutions, Inc. 4800 North Point Parkway,Ste 300 Alpharetta, GA 30022, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c) (2)--Unusual and compelling urgency precludes full and open competition.The NAICS Code is 423450 size standard of 100 employees. This will be a firm fixed price purchase order. This requirement is for replacement of a damaged Siemens mMr Head/Neck Matrix part# 10606489 used in the performance of diangostic head/neck imaging of NIH patients. The Government shall consider all responses received prior to the close date of this announcement. All responses must be received no later than September 19,2014 by 12:00pmPM, Eastern Standard Time.
