Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem Virginia will be soliciting for Virtual Pharmacist Services. The contractor will provide medication verification and processing in a timely manner for eligible patients seen by providers at Salem VAMC and the five community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) located in Danville, Lynchburg, Staunton, Tazewell, and Wytheville, Virginia. The Salem VAMC Pharmacies processes and verifies approximately 350,000 prescriptions per year and the virtual pharmacist service shall provide remote verification of pending outpatient prescriptions remotely based on demand. The contractor must possess all licenses, permits, accreditation's and certificates as required by law. A Request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-14-Q-1244 is expected to be issued within three weeks. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is January 1, 2015 - December 31, 2015, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the government. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 621399; Size Standard is $7.5 Million. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management www.sam.gov and have a completed copy of their Online Representations and Certifications Application.
