Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 - Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for commercial items. This announcement is the only solicitation that will be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a contract for the will exchange four (4) of Bay Pines' defective breakers for the remanufactured units they will furnish. Three (3) remanufactured Square D type DS-206S, 800 amp frame, manually operated with Amptector overcurrent protection breakers and one (1) Square D type DS-632, 3200 amp frame, electrically operated with Amptector overcurrent protection breaker protection as well as provide and install three (3) Westinghouse #2A89010G02 DS truck operated cell switches, 6-NO, 6-NC, into DS breaker cells for building 1 switchgear room, B114. This solicitation is to exchange four (4) of Bay Pines' defective breakers for the remanufactured units they will furnish. The procurement is set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. A firm fixed price single award is anticipated. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210. Its associated Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees.
