- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.603 - Streamlined Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76, effective 25 August 2014. This requirement is a small business set-aside for transformers needed for the 249th Engineer Battalion Power (Prime Power) under NAICS code 334416 (Capacitor, Resistor, Coil, Transformer, and Other Inductor Manufacturing). The size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. Period and Place of Performance: The required supplies are to be delivered no later than 28 February 2015. The delivery schedule is provided in the attached Purchase Description document. Please include stock availability in your quote. Date, Time, and Place Offers are Due: The closing date for the delivery of a response to this combined synopsis/solicitation is on or before 3:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), on Thursday, 25 September 2014. All questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation W912HQ-14-T-0027 must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the Point of Contact (POC) listed below no later than 12:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on Tuesday, 23 September 2014 in order to allow the Government time to review and respond accordingly. Questions received after the date and time specified above are not guaranteed to be answered prior to the solicitation closing date. Quotes shall include solicitation provision DFARS 252.209-7993 and must be submitted via e-mail or mailed to the POC shown below by the closing date and time. If a quote is mailed it should be accompanied by an electronic version of the quote (i.e. CD, DVD, etc.). If a quote is e-mailed to the POC, it is the offeror's responsibility to ensure that the transmission is received by the Government prior to the closing date and time. Upon receipt of an electronic quote, the Government will acknowledge receipt of that quote via email to the offeror.
