Description
The Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote (RFQ) to Motorola Solutions Inc., 7031 Columbia Gateway Dr. FL 3, Columbia, MD 21046. This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. Motorola is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source to possess full upgrade capability. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any interested party, other than Motorola, should contact the below named for more information regarding this posting, all correspondence shall be sent via e-mail to oulay.vorachack@navy.mil and received no later than 2 calendar days after the posted date of this announcement. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. See https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ for further information and instruction. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information provided. The Government anticipates a firm fixed price type contract.
