- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F6THCC4260AW01 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76, 25 August 2014 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20140828. It is the contractor's responsibility to become familiar with applicable clauses and provisions.. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 238220 with annual revenue not to exceed $15.0M. Description of Requirement: CLIN 0001 - QTY: 1 JOB. REQUIREMENT OVERVIEW The Western Air Defense Sector has a requirement for replacement of three (3) vertical in-line liquid cooling pumps. Installation is required, to include retro-fitting the current piping and reinsulating/blanketing of piping and pumps. Installation may also include electric work if necessary. PUMP REQUIREMENTS -Armstrong *4300 or 4030 Series Vertical In-Line Pump. Armstrong brand is desired to match existing legacy equipment, however alternate brands are allowable ONLY if compatible with rest of equipment. -Chilled water pump containing 20% Ethylene Glycol -480 Voltage -*Minimum 200 GPM with 7.5 HP motor -Vertical pump -Ability to change out parts without having to realign pump shaft -*1 EA Suction Diffuser per pump -*1 EA Check Valve per pump -*2 EA Single Sphere Flexible Connector per pump -*1 EA Balancing Valve per pump INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS Removal and disposal of old pumps and installation of new pumps in current (same) location. *Contractor will remove all debris and leave the work site as it was initially found. Pumps may only be removed and installed one at a time (*two pumps must remain operational at all times). Retrofitting of all applicable piping from existing piping to new pumps. Installation of additional electrical, if required, to current NEC standards. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS *Contractor shall provide a tentative schedule broken down by delivery & installation timelines. *Contractor shall consider the urgency of the requirement, and work to minimize downtime. *Normal operating hours are 0700-1530 Monday through Friday.
