- Description
- The United States Air Force Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, UT, Specialized Maintenace Contracting intends to award a sole source contract to AdaCore Technologies Inc under NAICS Code 511210, with a Small Business Size Standard of $38.5M. The contract shall provide up to: 3 year Support for Vx Works 6.9 OEM License; 1 WindRiver Workbench for VxWorks 6.9 Perpetual; VxWorks 6.6 OS and SMP; Entitlement Enterprise Support; VxWorks 5.5.1 OEM License; 32 Tornado 2.2.1 Standard; 3 Tornando 2.2.1 Professional necessary to support the 309 th Specialized Maintenance Division at Hill AFB, UT that are only available through Wind River Systems Inc.. The proposed contract will be awarded using Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures citing the authority at 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This is a pre-solicitation notice of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR 5.201. This synopsis is not a request for competive proposals nor does it restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. All inquiries should be sent by email to paula.teague@us.af.mil. Responses must be submitted by the date/time listed on the notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Responses received will be evaluated; however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates an award date on or before 22 September 2014. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse firms for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice.
