Description

Background and Purpose: The New York Harbor Healthcare Service - Manhattan Campus (VA NYHHS) requires temporary parking spots to include cars, minivans and SUV for staff during the construction phase of renovation projects throughout the building due to Hurricane Sandy beginning September 30, 2014. VA NYHHS is seeking a contract for parking service nearby the Manhattan Campus for a period of one year. Contractor will provide parking spots to encompass twenty-four (24) hours of coverage. Parking spots to include cars, minivans and SUV shall be maintained within one (1) location/facility. Parking spots shall accommodate at one hundred ten (110) vehicles. The parking locations should not be further than five (5) city block radius from the medical facility. The parking spots availability should be as follows: Day Time (6am through 6pm) - 85 spots Evening (6pm through 6am) - 25 spots The vendor must assure flexibility between day and night parking to accommodate VA staff. This flexibility would include but not limited to unilateral increase of night parking while decreasing night parking maintaining the total requested parking spots of one hundred ten (110) spots. Place of performance will be the designated parking locations provided by the contractor not to exceed five (5) city block radius from the medical facility.
