- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Minimum Essential Characteristics Chemical Vaporizer System Brand Name or Equal Brooks Instrument Model DLI- CSE with Quantim Flow Controller and GF Carrier Gas Flow Controller 1.The DLI Vaporizer shall meet or exceed the below characteristics: a.Vaporizer unit 1.System utilizes a removable, field replaceable atomizer 2.Design must not allow liquid carry over 3.On start-up and set point initiation, vapor must be delivered to the process with no liquid phase flow within 5 seconds or better 4.On shut down and set point command- vapor (and no liquid) liquid supply must stop within 5 seconds. 5.Must be Helium leak tested to 10 9 torr or better and pressure tested to 1000 psi or better. 6.Vaporization must be achieved through hot gas recirculation and not due to a hot plate type mechanism 7.Vaporizer must be able to obtain 120 degree C or higher b.Gas Mass Flow Controllers 1.Must have Analog and Serial (RS-485), analog Q-5 VDC and DeviceNet communication interfaces 2.Gas and range must be user configurable 3.Full scale flow range must be able to adjust 3:1 or better 4.Must be able to monitor the flow from hundreds of gases and gas mixtures 5.Material of construction must be corrosion-resistant alloys (Hastelloy or equivalent) for all flow tubes and valve seats c.Liquid Mass flow Controller 1.Must be of the direct mass flow measurement 2.The controller must have an integral flow control valve, flow sensor and PID controller 3.Accuracy must be within 0.2% of flow reading and have a zero stability not to exceed 1 gram per hour on a liquid range of 1000 grams per hour 4.Must have Mass flow and density as output signals 5.The mass flow controller must have on board status and alarm d.Pressure transmitter e.Vaporizer, all flow controllers, and Pressure transmitter 1.Must be mounted on stainless steel plate which can be mounted in a vertical position 2.Must contain shut off valves for liquid and gas flow to the vaporizer f.Control unit for vaporizer unit 1.Must have a temperature controller to run the vaporizer heating unit 2.Must come with appropriate cables with at least 15ft in length 3.Must have an USB Communication Port 4.Must contain service suite software for configuration and diagnostics 5.Must contain be in table top Enclosure including integral cable connectors 6.Must be powered by 115 VAC 7.Must be capable of interfacing with LabView software g.Other 1.Must have a factory service engineer on-site on star- up day Email Quotes to below: Abraham Pottenger Contract Specialist U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity 820 Chandler Street Ft.
