- Description
- The Department of Labor (DOL), has a requirement for Bloomberg Professional services. The Deparmtne of Labor (DOL), Employment Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) requests Bloomberg Anywhere licenses and support services. Bloomberg Professional Services provides access to 24/7 real-time access to news, social media feed, blogs and Bloomberg Intelligence that may impact the Market. Bloomberg is the exclusive provider of BVAL which is the evaluated pricing for various and global Fixed Income Security which EBSA has a particular need for historical time series of bond prices. This will be an unrestricted requirement. A sole-source, firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. It is intended that this requirement will be awarded to Bloomberg Finance L.P.; 731 Lexington Avenue; New York, NY 10022.The proposed contract action is for services which the government intends to award to one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 519130 with a size standard of 500 Employees. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 2721. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet this requirement by email lamb.michael@dol.gov, September 23, 2010 at 11:00 EST. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning SAM requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov. The government reserves the right to evaluate and give evaluation credit for proposed features that exceed either the stated thresholds or objectives.
