- Description of Required Services The U.S. Department of Education is hereby issuing the following: SOURCES SOUGHT FOR AUTHORIZED RESELLERS FOR A BRAND NAME ITEM PECULIAR TO ONE MANUFACTURER, WebSphere Software License renewals. The justification rationale authority permitting a brand name specific product for this contract action is FAR 8.405-6(b). Please see the attachment entitled WebSphere Renewal Descriptions for a list of the required licenses. The Department intends to procure these products from an authorized reseller: Responses shall include the following: • Company name/Address/Point of Contact • Business size and designations • GSA Schedule • GSA Contract number • Statement that the above mentioned items are on your GSA schedule or note open market items • Experience providing products • If the products can be offered for more than a year, please advise of the term that can be offered. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210, Software Publishers. If there is a more appropriate NAICS code please provide that information in your response. This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only and is not a request for proposal or quote. Responses shall be no longer then three pages. No, contract will result from any responses to this sources sought.
