- The US Army Aviation & Missile Command is seeking information from sources that feel they are capable of providing technical, engineering and logistics services and supplies for Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) to support overhaul, repair and recapitalization of the AH-64/H-47 weapon systems. The contractor will provide technology insertion, modernization of components, obsolescence management, and test and support equipment upgrades for AH-64/H-47 weapon systems. The contractor will provide AMCOM depot maintenance engineering with technical and engineering assistance. The contractor will be responsible for the development of overhaul and workstation material kits to streamline CCAD airframes and components production to ensure availability of all airframes and component spare parts required to assure an increase in material fill rate. The contractor will develop work scope and process improvement recommendations in support of the overhaul and repair functions to increase material fill rate to 90 percent. The contractor shall assist and advise CCAD in establishing commercial best practices in the areas of production planning, production control, materials management and process engineering. The contractor will provide logistical support functions in inventory management of spare parts associated with the AH-64/H-47 components by procuring 100 percent of the parts and material required by CCAD in the overhaul. The contractor will provide full pre-induction evaluation of structurally-damaged aircraft as an integral part of the CCAD field evaluation team. The Contractor supporting elements will include engineering analysis specific to the individual aircraft configuration and logistical support to determine a comprehensive repair bill of materials. Complete and adequate data is not available to support full and open competition. This effort is sole source to The Boeing Company, 5000 E. McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Any interested parties may submit a response to the POC which shall be considered by the Agency. The period of performance for this effort is five program years. All responses must be received by 22 Oct 2014. Oral communications in response to this notice are not acceptable. Please include your business status (Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, Woman-owned, etc.) and indicate any intellectual property rights issues pursuant to your product. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for this requirement.
