- Grader Picture Cab Floor Shot Grader Picture Back Shot Grader Picture Full shot Revised solicitation dated 09/22/14 This is a reissue of the pre-solictation notice for the Grader Rebuild project removing the set aside and extending the response date due to unusual and compelling urgency. The revised solicitation is posted with this reissue notice. The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (Corporation) plans to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to rehabilitate/rebuild to "like new condition" a 1989 John Deere Model 672B Grader. The contractor shall pick the grader up at the Corporation's Maintenance Facility located at 251 Fregoe Road in Massena, New York and shall return it to that location after the work is completed. The contractor shall use John Deere (OEM) parts, when available, and shall provide a one (1) year warranty on the work. The work shall include but not be limited to replacing the head, head gasket, starter, alternator, fuel pump, water pump, turbo charger, transmission oil cooler, front wheel drive motor cylinder block assemblies, and front hydraulic pump; installing new seal kits and hoses; cleaning, painting and decaling the entire machine to original specifications, and replacing the wing assembly and tires. The machine shall be completely reassembled and fully tested for functional operation and adjusted to current John Deere specifications. The work to rebuild the grader shall be completed before December 1, 2014. The RFQ will be posted on the fbo website on 09/22/14. Applicable NAICS code is 333120 with a size standard of 750 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. Anticipated award date is 09/18/14. Selection will be based on price and past performance. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.
