- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1. Solicitation number W912LD-14-T-0052 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 guidelines. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-72. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered by the agency. 2. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. See clause 52.212-2, quote mark Evaluation Procedures quote mark, for further details on evaluation procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517911 ( quote mark Telecommunications Resellers quote mark ) and the Size Standard for Small Business is 1,500 Employees. 3. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract for Avaya Ethernet Switches for the Rhode Island Air National Guard 143rd Communications Flight located at Quonset State Airport, North Kingstown Rhode Island. Evaluation of proposals may be made without discussions with the offeror(s). The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this combined synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the government according to FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The following items are being procured: CLIN Description: 0001: Ethernet Routing Switches, 4850GTS-PWR+ with 48 10/100/1000 802.3 PoE+ & 2 SFP ports plus 2 SFP+ ports & HiStack ports. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement.
