Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 is holding an Industry Day to provide information on the forthcoming Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) Next Generation (NG) Program opportunity. Industry day will be conducted via Microsoft Lync and VA Nationwide Teleconferencing System (VANTS) on October 6, 2014 from 1:00PM EST to 2:00PM EST. A test run to assure access/connectivity will tentatively occur on October 2, 2014. Information regarding the test run will be made available to all registered attendees. The agenda will include a briefing on the T4NG Program, technical requirements, anticipated acquisition schedule, and proposed evaluation approach. The North American Industry Code for this acquisition is 541512. The T4NG contract is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order contract with a five-year base period and five-year option period. The T4NG contract will establish the requirements for contractor-provided solutions in support of information technology (IT) and telecommunication services. The Contractor shall provide total IT services solutions including the following functional areas: program management, strategy, enterprise architecture and planning; systems/software engineering; software technology demonstration and transition; test and evaluation; independent verification and validation; enterprise network; enterprise management framework; operations and maintenance; cybersecurity; training; information technology facilities; and other solutions encompassing the entire range of IT and Health IT requirements, to include software and hardware incidental to the solution. All attendees must be registered by September 26, 2014 to participate. Registration for the Industry Day is not limited; however, Microsoft Lync can only accommodate 400 participants. Therefore, the first 400 attendees signed on to Lync prior to the presentation on October 6, 2014 will have access to the online presentation. Registered participants are allowed only one Lync sign-on session and one VANTS line per company. VANTS lines will be provided and the briefing slides will be made available prior to October 6, 2014. All information provided in the online presentation will be available in the briefing slides posted to FBO prior to the presentation. Additionally, one-on-one sessions between VA TAC and industry partners will be held telephonically during business hours on October 7, 2014 through October 10, 2014. Each session will be limited to 30 minutes and time slots will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis with a maximum of four attendees per company. Recording the one-on-one session is strictly prohibited. All Industry Day information (briefings, follow up Q&A, attendee list, etc.) will be posted publicly via FBO. To register for Industry Day and/or a one-on-one session, please complete the T4NG Registration Form provided below and submit it electronically no later than 11:30PM EST on September 26, 2014 via Virtual Office of Acquisition (VOA), https://www.voa.va.gov/. The use of hyperlinks or embedded attachments in responses is prohibited. Vendors are encouraged to register for the Vendor Portal in order to ensure timely transmission of their registration to the Government. The web address for the VOA site is https://www.voa.va.gov/. Vendors must be registered users on the VOA website in order to submit their registration form. Once vendors are registered in VOA, they can click on the Proposal Dashboard link and within that link click on Add Proposal to open up the form to upload files. Note: At this time, the Proposal Dashboard will be used for the submission of T4NG Industry Day Registration Forms only. The Government is not requesting proposals. The Proposal Type drop down field should be changed to T4NG Industry Day to reflect the action being submitted against. If you are registering for a one-on-one session indicate "Yes" in the Description field. Please note the email address submitted electronically will receive the meeting invite for the Industry day as well as the one-on-one session (if requested). For registration or technical issues concerning proposal submission, contact voahelp@va.gov. WARNING: Please do not wait until the last minute to submit your registration forms! To avoid submission of late responses, we recommend the transmission of your response 24 hours prior to the required due date and time. Vendors are encouraged to review and ensure that sufficient bandwidth is available on their end of the transmission. Registration forms will not be considered after 11:30PM EST on September 26, 2014. You will receive a meeting invite for the Industry Day as well as the date and time of your one-on-one session, if a one-on-one session has been requested.
