Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. Solicitation N62742-14-T-6627 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423110 Automobile and Other Motor Vehicle Merchant Wholesalers. This RFQ is issued as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR part 13) and is issued as an UNRESTRICTED procurement for a firm fixed price contract for one (1) EA of VAN Passenger (Hyundai Starex, Nissan Serene S-Hybrid, Toyota Previa or equal) to deliver to Embassy of the United States, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The required items and descriptions are as follows:- CLIN 0001:VAN Passenger, Qty = 1 -Van, Passenger. Right hand drive. -Make /Model: Hyundai Starex, Nissan Serene S-Hybrid, Toyota Previa or equivalent. -Model year: 2014 or newer -Model type: Asian. Spare parts must be available in Malaysia -Engine: Gasoline or Diesel 2.0 - 2.5 Liter (2,000 2,500 cc) -Transmission: Automatic, 4 x 2 wheel drive -Suspension: Heavy duty. -Tires: 16 - 17, Alloy wheels. Full size spare tire. -Doors: 4/5 doors, sliding door, Rear door with wiper. -Security: Power lock doors and windows, Power windows -Seating: Leather upholstery on seats. 8-12 Passenger Seats -Floor Mats: Removable vinyl or rubber floor mats -Seatbelts: One for each seat, waist and shoulder -Air Conditioning: Air conditioning front and rear -Steering: Power steering, ABS -Airbags: Two - driver and front passenger -Color: Dark - Manuals, in English: Operators, Two. Parts, two - Required Options to be installed before delivery: - Tinted side and rear windows - Offerors are to provide in their proposal: Make, model, model year, country of manufacturer, installed options dimensions and curb weight. DELIVERY TO EMBASSY OF THE UNITED STATES, KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA Government shall inspect and accept vehicles at destination. Delivery location and consignee address; Office of Defense Cooperation Malaysia (ODC Malaysia) American Embassy Kuala Lumpur 376, Jalan Tun Razak 50400 Kuala Lumpur Local Procure: The vehicle shall be procured locally in Malaysia. Deliver vehicles to consignee point within thirty (30) days of the contract award. WARRANTY: Provide details on standard commercial warranty. Minimum of three years or up to five years including basic and extended warranty. The dealer is local service in Kuala Lumpur. Provide name of dealer in Kuala Lumpur which shall provide warranty services. The following provisions, clauses and addenda are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeros Commercial; Addenda to 52.212-1, paragraph (b) submission of Offers: (4) Complete description of proposed vehicle including make, model, model year, country of manufacturer, dimensions and curb weight; showing the proposed vehicle meets the required specifications. Any available optional items/special features available and warranty. (12) The dealer is local service in Kuala Lumpur. Provide name of dealer in Kuala Lumpur which shall provide warranty services. (13) Offers submitted in response to this solicitation shall be in terms of US. Dollar. 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and past performance considered. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items; The offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal or be currently registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) with Representations and Certifications completed. 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; Addenda to 52.212-4, paragraph (o): WARRANTY: Provide details on standard commercial warranty.
