- Salient Characteristics Request for Quote Statement of Work The 502 nd Contracting Squadron, 2250 Engineer Street, Ste# 1, San Antonio, Texas 78234-7740, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being solicited as 100 percent small-business set-aside on FedBizOpps. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 561621, Security Systems (except Locksmith); with a small business size standard of $20,500,000. Only quotes submitted by small business concerns will be accepted by the Government. Any quote that is submitted by a contractor that is not a small business concern will not be considered for award. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76, effective 25 August 2014. The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed-Price contract in support of the 502 Force Support Squadron (FSS). Quotes will be evaluated on the basis of Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) to the Government and must include a price quote, written technical approach demonstrating understanding of the Statement of Work (SOW). This combined synopsis is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation anytime before contract award. The Government is NOT liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this announcement. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement. In order to be considered for award by the Government, vendors must adhere to the quotation requirements and respective evaluation factors set herein within FAR Provision 52.212-1's and 52.212-2 Addenda. Additional details for the requirement can be found in the statement of work (SOW). Note : No site visit is available for this requirement. Quotes due 29 Sep 2014 at 2p.m. CDT.
